TROPHY CASE

1968 Altec Lansing A7's by limping_bearin avporn

Beautiful setup. I'm curious about the low frequency response of these with the stock LF drivers. Could you give specs on the drivers that you used to restore them (I actually have a pair of the same, but everything's blown). My questions is really, does the stock LF driver really provide much bass? Or do you have a high pass filter set on these, and a subwoofer not shown?

Thanks!

Any tall athletes out there? by vaporeonz9in tall

Unfortunately I've never done any athletics for which my height would be an advantage. I used to skateboard pretty seriously, but now I do ring gymnastics (flying rings). It looks like this:

It's an interesting contradiction, but I might point out two things: first that the people greenlighting the films you're referring to do so for financial reasons, not ideological reasons. Second, to paraphrase Tim Robbins, it is a myth to think that Hollywood is "liberal" at all; the subtext of every action film is that you often need to fight to get your way-- and fighting can be awesome.

One can judge the town by the product it produces and conclude that "pushing liberal values" is not a priority for Hollywood.

I've read that the chaotic nature of their releases was actually due to their unexpected success. SF2 got very big, very fast, and people were hacking the arcades and selling (awesome) pirate versions to arcade owners. e.g Rainbow Edition. Capcom responded by pushing out these releases in an effort to compete with the hacked versions of their own game.

Tascam is a great company. I haven't used this unit, but it should work great for what you're doing: Tascam DR-05.

You guys seem like you're on a pretty tight budget, so if you really want to shoestring it, spend your money on a better boom mic, and use iProRecorder.

To sync up the audio from the camera and the boom mic use PluralEyes, or sync it up manually if your not into the whole brevity thing.

I was amazed that it played as well as it did. Though, after I had edited the video I tried to go back on and I couldn't even get a few seconds of uninterrupted stream.
