I'd just have to add to the Q3 Engine, COD4 played at any of the "jumping" frame rates (divide 1000 by any integer). I can't explain it, but it just feels so smooth.

The best part is, it can actually work perfectly.

Another thing that I actually didn't like in Far Cry 2 was when you had managed to destroy an outpost and the last guy left began to cower and hide. The dialogue from him genuinely made the player feel bad about what they were doing.

I'd absolutely love some sort of "Far Cry 4", taking the need for survival and strategy of the second game, the technology of the first FC and the combat from the 3rd game and including more emphasis on a 4 player co-op, planning and executing attacks, guerrilla-style. That is my dream.

Savage XR is an amazing project run by the vets of the old Savage game, they managed to refine and improve all the core gameplay. Essentially it is a HD reconstructed version of a forgotten (but one of the best) now-freeware game.

I only have Far Cry 2 (I love it). And I find stealth to be very fun in that game too. Infiltrating bases was hard but possible, and was very rewarding, although silencers and ghillie were mandatory.

This is exactly what I'm annoyed about. Weapons are currently too expensive for many people to continually buy new releases. Not buying them on the other hand can/will/may put you at a disadvantage.

Also just to add, when using the axtinguisher, it can be better to light and then axtinguish without the puff on slower classes.
