GTA EFLC won't launch? Desperate for help...

I recently installed it for the first time and when I click play it says "failed to contact key server" I've also tried every "fix" I could find on Google and nothing has worked. I'm still waiting for a reply from steam support.

I managed to get past the mission by reassigning SPACE to J and pressing A on my 360 controller as well as J on the keyboard at the same time and Niko climbed. Yay :D

I did try the affinity thing too, I'm sort of giving up at this point. Someone mentioned a autokeybinder thing to sort of spam the button so it can go faster even at fast fps. I might try that. Thanks for all the help.

Don't EVER do a defrag? Is there a way to turn off automatic defragging for Windows 7? I've defragged not knowing. :(
