How did you get into UofMN?

Chem and ChemE are in CSE. All you really need to do to get in to lower division is do your best to meet the requirements to get into CSE, and probably show that you have done well in science/chemistry courses in general.

Once you've gotten in, as Protega touched on, you need to keep your grades up and maintain some focus to be able to get into upper division.

Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development. I'm in the College of Biological sciences, which is a little more selective.

P.S. If you haven't noticed, some people in this sub have flair that displays their location, major, and expected graduation year. Can be helpful :)

Graduated HS ~3.9, ACT 32. I had some extracurriculars, not excessive (NHS, helped start a club, Minnesota Youth Symphonies). I'd like to think I overachieved a bit, though.

I have a lot of anxiety problems as well. Do you get regular exercise? I have pinpointed this as the biggest thing I can do to release excess tension and reduce the number of major and minor panic attacks I have.

I get overly anxious and upset about lots of little things. It's affecting my romantic relationship because it is hard for him to put up with my anxiety and panic attacks.

I also see myself following in my mother's footsteps, and so I really have to work as hard as possible to change before I end up angry, bitter, and constantly anxious. She works constantly and is now in her second failing marriage. I see my mother as a successful and generally intelligent person, but I don't want to end up with the same glaring faults as her. She generally is not a happy person.

If you're feeling lazy, try using garam masala spice from your local grocery store. It's usually pretty similar, but imparts less flavor because it's preground and probably a bit old.

Reference. This isn't the best source, but it does mention that Miazaki confirmed this himself. Anyway, point is, the use of sexualization in this picture becomes much more concerning given the context of symbolism in Spirited Away.

It is! It's even mentioned in The Doctor's Wife that another time lord had both male and female regenerations. The method or logistics behind gender changes seems to be somewhat contentious, but it is definitely possible.

Yeah, my cat's spot is in the narrow hallway in front of our front door, but the mat is really unobtrusive, so I like it. Works for me anyway. This is more or less what I have, although I think mine is thinner than this one.

Does that smell a lot? I'd prefer to avoid something that stinks up the carpet because that would probably just as easily keep me from getting my security deposit back.

Also, if you get tired of using the spray, I've just put a silicone cooking mat (it's just what I had on hand) and he hasn't been harassing the spot much since. I think within a day he got tired of trying to pull back the mat.

Thanks, I just put a silicone mat over the spot. He's already trying to pick that up so he can scratch at the carpet. We'll see how it goes, though.

I would understand that if he had been doing this all along, but he only just started this. He also already has a scratching post nearby (can't put it on the spot because it's right in a high traffic area).

A note for CBS. Last I checked (AKA when I first got in), the don't accept AP Bio scores for anything useful. The stuff you learned in AP will probabl be useful but you cannot get out of Biol 2002 (for good reasons).
