Yep and this is why I try not to let 'new to the industry' contractors/billable employees see what they're actually being billed at. That money gets used very quickly

don't feel too bad, the fact that they misuse the word column for row doesn't help matters

While I completely get your point and back it. Your numbers are VERY drastically out of whack. The cost of an employee (to an employer) is significantly more than the salary. There's many other things to take into consideration: benefits package, SS, unemployment, insurance, etc. Realistically you'd be looking at closer to 150-200 people employed.

Again I back your point, I just want to make sure you realize the 'cost' of an employee is significantly more than the salary number.

This plus blue jacket.

IIRC, it's not just convention, it's the english language. I'm sure that'll change in time, but I believe that is proper grammar/usage to use he when unknown.

edit: saw the vid and that's a skirt. ooops

150k wasn't even close to profit. I've lost more than 1k through other unfortunate-ness in the past, but that's a cost of doing business. A corporation being able to keep my money just because they want to?

It's worth noting that southwest seats give you more space for a 'normal' seat than any of the comparable airlines. I'm 6'6" but have the legs of a 6'10"+ man, this leg room is crucial for me :)

Tall guys with Short Girls - Argh! by EmmaMightBeDrunkin tall

let me speak from personal experience. While it's not like this all the time. The height factor in females makes me immediately think of my sisters, which can then kill many layers of attraction. I can't really explain why the connection is there...but it's why I generally don't find myself attracted to taller women.

Dear Redditors, my best friend went to meet someone she met online, and after an alarming text, she has been unresponsive. What do I do? by MadameScarletin AskReddit

[–]Freakazoid84 0 points1 point ago

I'm desperately hoping as much. I was just about to edit the previous post. A general declaration from the police local to the area where she went isn't enough. 'We're looking into it', only goes so far. I give the 'looking into it' about 3-4 hours, and again personally I'd be in the air by the time the police started to do anything about it.

obviously this is all very dependent on how the whole conversation goes :) Some police departments are AMAZING and react very quickly.

I did, no response yet unfortunately. And I agree with the police access. My issue with that is, way too often, the police refuse to use that access (don't ask me how I know). Which is where I'm offering to step in.

More beneficial than simply iterating the same advice? 100% absolutely. I've yet to see anyone actually offering to help, unless I'm wrong. Advice <> direct help

You're right though, I should be more exact on how I'm willing to help, and I put this in another post... I'm willing to help find any and all information about the person/address, as well as being a person to go to the physical location.

[–]Freakazoid84 -1 points0 points ago

Fair enough, I went ahead and edited out the post entirely as I believe it was taken entirely incorrectly. Thanks for the insight :)

To answer question 1 though, for good measure. On the research/background level, I'm simply offering to uncover any and all possible information. (skip tracing). I'm offering to do what the police may not do, or may not do quickly enough. I'm also offering to be another body. I've done it before, and I'll do it again, when it comes to potentially saving someone out I'll go all in.

The police may be helpful, sometimes, many times they are. They may also be completely incompetent. If that's the case, that's where I'm offering to help.

I agree, which is why I had phrased my post the way I did. The obvious thing has been said over and over and over again. Call the police.

If it's not a troll, I'm willing to help in every way possible.... personally help track down any information and even head there myself if warranted.

apparently the gist of this post has been butchered, so I'm just editing it out entirely. Just attempting to help.

unfortunately, I'm going to go ahead with the general consensus that this is a troll post...thus there will be no update.

OP if I'm wrong, PM me as I mentioned in a previous post. I'll personally help in every/any way possible.
