Vehicle crashes have always been pretty unforgiving in ARMA. Though in OFP they were just brutal. Which is to say relatively realistic. Hit something going 20mph and your car is probably totaled.

Because I've been having this same debate for... five years now? And it doesn't go anywhere. No one here has the power to influence a move from a money economy to a resource economy. Few people can even grasp that other economies are hypothetically possible. I'm tired and fed up. I'm sure Cory Doctorow or someone has written a nice monograph on the possibility of a just-in-time resource based economy utilizing modern technology and automation.

Personally, I think of this style as WoW. The goofy, oversized cartoon characters with ridiculous proportions and huge shoulder plates? WoW all over the place.

When you're killing off more than fifty percent of the population there's no point pretending that any scheme you can come up with would be 'fair'.

A magazine holds ammunition in a firearm. A clip is a piece of metal that holds several rounds of ammunition together to make them easier to load into a magazine. Most modern firearms have detachable magazines. You load rounds into the magazine and then load the magazine into your rifle or pistol.

Many older weapons have a fixed magazine. For instance the familiar M1 Garand has a fixed magazine, inside the rifle. The magazine is loaded using clips of ammunition.

You can also use clips to rapidly load detachable magazines. It's faster than loading rounds one at a time with your hands.
