I/someone really needs to make Burning Bro: The usual effigy with an obtuse baseball cap and pink shirt with the collar popped.

Wait... what?! And only a salmon's throw away from Pike Place . . . by gregbemin Seattle

I suppose there is no fighting it. Downtown is, and should be the epicenter of modern commerce. I just hate the fact that people are totally ok with generic retail blending in with old timey historic buildings. FML if this is considered progress. Convenience over culture.

Is like Seattle's downtown is becoming LA Live. Fuck history, I want a $20 lamp. I really want the Funhouse to move into where the Lusty Lady used to be.

I have, there is a book that I've been trying to finish for the last 12 years. My latest draft I haven't touched in 6 months. Maybe I'll go back to it.

Offering 75 dollars to Seattle redditors. Seriously. by cabinetofcaligariin Seattle

Look, if no one is listening to it, that probably means no one likes it and it should not exist. Sure, you job is on the line but I'm sure there is a more legitimate option for employment on your end right? Could you be using your talents for something more worthwhile than trying to pay people to listen to shitty music? I'm sure you have it in you to stand up and go do what it is you really want without having to resort to begging people to support this kind of fake marketing.

Wake up, go live your life.

Can anyone recommend a retro game shop in or around Seattle? by narunettoin Seattle

Al's is a music store right down the street from Pink Gorilla in the U-District. They have a very decent selection old school games. Usually fairly cheap too.

I remember seeing these guys for the first time in 1999 (or was it 2000) at bumbershoot. I couldn't hear much of the show because the entire audience knew every word of every song and they sang along through the whole show like some massive hard rock choir. Easily one of the best shows I ever saw. They literally lit the fucking stage on fire! I went in drunk. By the end I was more sober than I had ever been in my life.
