Opium ≠ Heroin

Opium has a bunch of different opiate alkaloids most importantly morphine and codeine.

Heroin is just diacetylmorphine.

This attitude exists because people are ignorant of how the brain functions- Most people think that "shrooms make you trip" instead of "Psilocin acts on the 5-HT2 receptor sites, making you trip". If people understood basic drug chemistry this mentality would probably stop.

Everything is natural, or else it would not exist.
