While it is awesome by itself... it's like watching the Star Wars prequels without having seen the original trilogy (only in this case, the prequel is better), you miss out on a lot of important information, and a good majority of the biggest plot twists are ruined for you. Well, they both spoil each other, but I'd say the truth about Sakura's past is a MUCH bigger spoiler than knowing who Saber is, or who wins the F/Z war.
