every GOP claim is a fabrication at this point, they haven't been in the realm of reality for may years. the people who repeat the bullshit don't even believe it, but unfortunately much of their base is too anti-intellectual to question the talking points.

this is a realistic critique, its good technically but he/she needs to do something to stand out. do something - anything - to make it unique and have a message.

for art to be marketable it has to move people one way or another, even if the meaning is interpreted entirely different by every viewer. art that drives emotion drives sales, if he's interested in this is as a career he has the technical abilities but needs to jump into the creative deep end or else he'll just be an average portrait artist of which there are many more in the world.
