Just buy a Tetrax magnetic car mount. The magnet is on the unit on your dash, with a little metal nipple adhered to your Otterbox. Works like a dream!

No, I never did, unfortunately. My phone bookmarks are fine, Chrome sync didn't affect them. Also, I use bookmarkSB to backup and restore my phone bookmarks, even though it's buggy with ICS.
