Can you put it back? I liked it better before.

You're right, I was half awake when I wrote the comment on COG. COG rises, but ability to control also increases. The later was the point.

p.s. You might be right, the COG for the combined mass might be higher but your ability to articulate/control that weight will be much better when you stand on the pegs.

Where are your feet when you're standing? The pegs are lower than the seat.

What does all that fat look like...see here. by Prycein Fitness

[–]El-Coqui 3 points4 points ago

Looks like a pretty poor display, like something you'd see in a 3rd rate wax museum. Any science behind those or is the creator just guessing?

p.s. fat in the food doesn't equal fat in the body, despite what the sign at the top says.

Stand the pegs when the terrain is rough. You'll do MUCH better. You actually steer primarily with the pegs when you're standing on them and you'll have a lower overall center of gravity. It makes controlling the bike much easier. Practice on the easy stuff, first.

EDIT: Half awake when I wrote that. COG rises when you stand up, which is irrelevant to the increased control you'll have when you do it.

Enduro in what weight class? The bantam weight stuff is better on trail, the heavier stuff is better for street or touring. What sort of riding?

At least 15 years old - why?

Pretty typical in states where oil is used as a heating fuel. As others have said, check your contract.

Think it's hard to find a place to rent? Try finding a good tenant.

Agreed. Most of the time, teenager "mods" are just horrendous.

I prefer our system too, but miss the one pager - write almost whatever you want - contracts we used to do in Massachusetts.

Those with aftermarket exhaust, you know what this means... by dieselnutin motorcycles

[–]El-Coqui 2 points3 points ago

Oh, so you're only doing this for 30 seconds. Great.

I love the way my stock exhaust sounds. So nice and quiet when I fire it up, so easy on the ears when I cruising around, and so feisty in the power-band. And somehow, I never annoy the shit out of everybody else, especially when I'm riding through a tunnel.

This happened to my rear tire, still rideable.. Thoughts? by kingblobin motorcycles

[–]El-Coqui 2 points3 points ago

Hard to believe that's caused by wear. Definitely NOT wise to keep riding on int.

First time rider. My new bike by dartx979xin motorcycles

[–]El-Coqui 41 points42 points ago

Since everyone else is oohing and aahing over the cool-factor, let me add a suggestion. Do a serious safety check on that thing before you ride it too far/too long. Check the brakes, tires, fasteners, axles, etc. Not sure if you modified it yourself or by some hack...
