This isn't so much said to the teacher, but rather the class.

It was my 10th grade Science class and we had just gotten new textbooks that week. Now, it is important to preface this story by saying this teacher was AWESOME. He was a hilarious, sarcastic and genuine guy who my circle of friends at the time got along with really well. Anyways, he handed out the textbooks and told the class to familiarize ourselves a bit with them and flip through them for a bit.

I was flipping through it and came across this hottie asian professor lady in a picture like... bending over and point to a chalkboard with some sort of science all over it. To this day, I do not know the relevance of this picture... but it has since been one of my most embarassing moments. ANYWAYS, so we're all silently flipping through these textbooks and I encounter this picture. I stand up with the textbook open and shout out across the room to my teacher at the time, "Hey Mr. Cloutier, check out this..." and I tried to say FOX (as in foxy lady) however being that it was grade 10, and I was just at the tail end of puberty, I was still suffering from the odd voice crack. For some cruel reason, I was hit with the MOTHER OF ALL VOICE CRACKS at that second. My voice went up 10 octaves and I shattered all the glass in the room as I said "FOX".

And yeah... if you remember grade 10, you will remember it being one of the more self-conscious teenage years. I sat down. Slumped into my chair and prayed that God, or science, or whatever would strike me down.
