If the volume is low, simply turn the gain on the track up (or the gain of the other down). Traktor has an autogain function that will help solve the problem automatically.

The thing about nepotism that people don't realize is it can go both ways. In my experience, instead of being able to get away with murder like everyone thinks, you are actually held to a higher standard, however people treat you like shit because they think you don't deserve your job.
