MFA seems to prefer Jack Purcells over Chuck Taylors, if only slightly. I'm sort of curious as to why?

The poster's headline wasn't unbiased. On the other hand, this is a sci fi reddit, so it wasn't that inappropriate to note. Apparently he also liked John Steinbeck’s “East of Eden” and Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” At least he reads.

I'm not a fan of Netanayu -- he's a bit too right wing and combative if you ask me. Israel is important, but I wish they had a better leader.

And Romney's position on China is laughable. I don't think the man is well-schooled when it comes to Foreign Affairs and I think a number of his advisors are dangerous, and the same kind of fools that got us into Iraq.

I agree. That song seemed way out of place. I realize it's a Baz Lurhman film, but he would have been better off using something from the Jazz Age instead of this crap. I think there's a French band that does electronic versions of twenties music that would have been more appropriate. The set design and costumes, however, looked great.
