Look there's NO other reason for my commuting besides the fact that it's really fucking expensive. I'd have to pay for everything, and not paying anything is definitely eons better than paying 40k+ a year to learn the same shit. I recognize the "umbilical cord" symbolism but I simply don't fall in the category of people that require cord cutting anymore. I'm 19 years old, I'm not 12. So I mean, the only real thing I'd be getting out of college is a party once and a while, and getting to know people I'll, most likely, Never see again after school. i dont even drink and hate party environments so parties are practically a chore. It's all stuff that I can just live without, and I don't have to pay for student loans my whole damn life. Also, it's not like your friends house analogy at all, because my friends dont charge me hundreds of dollars a month to stay there. (idk about yours though)
