In around 120 years, every person currently alive will be dead, and the earth will be completely populated with people that have not yet been born. What other inevitable facts about the future do you think about? by diddletapflamdiddlein AskReddit

[–]D3PO 6 points7 points ago

I was on vacation in a place i usually dont visit having a cup of coffee and looking at people walking by when this thought hit me. This is the last time i see these people alive. Unless there is an afterlife, this is the last time i see these people forever. I look at them for about 10 sec and i acknowledge their existence.

They will go in from this moment to live their own lifes which will involve a lot of sorrow and also happiness. I wont be there to witness it but we have something in common. We both are alive and we both are trying to make the best of it. I could only hope luck to for them as they pass and disappears for an eternity.

Choose carefully the people you surround yourself with because it truly is a big privilege to give someone your mortal time when in reality you walk by people everyday that you never will see again.

He makes a good point. Funny video too. The most agressive guy sets the tone of the fight. I personally seen a hugh Thai boxer with unfortunatly i little too big ego starting a fight with two people. One got his back and the other one unleashed punches and stomped him on the ground. Not a suprise that those people werent going to "spar" him in a thai match but instead go dirty street fight. Im not trying to compare two styles. Just merely was looking for the anwser to it.

There are situations were an attacker will attempt boxing with or without the skills for it and throw the first shots in combination from a guard. That thats a very classic scenario. What you saying are that as soon as he throws the punches the krav teaching is to burst and not stop to let him regroup. Sometimes thats inevitable also were the attacker steps back and get out of range. Regroups and comes in a second time to attack. Sure during that time you could escape but let say you cant because you protecting someone else and you are in a room with the door behind the attacker.

Winning is surviving. Dont get me wrong. Standing there keeping the fight going isn't what i am talking about. Neutralizing the threat can be a better survival tactic than escaping if there is a big chance the attacker regroups and attacks again. 90% of all fights i seen is amateur-seen-on-tv boxing attempts. 9% is haymakers swinging and 1% is real actual techniques. I think many people initial reaction is to step back if someone burst a combo even if trained to later realize that should have unleashed. Now they are facing a guy in guard approaching to throw another combo. Suddenly you are in a boxing match at least in his world and have to find an opening. If groin kick fails there should be an answer to his style.

Okay i see. This things along with the guard right? but insted of having the guard absorb the punches you reach out and redirect them. I was watching Krav videos and saw this guy demonstrating a bunch of kung fu looking techniques where he would grab the arm and did a lot of fancy stuff that got me worried. No way that would work against combinations. Even looking to grab a boxers wrist could be dangerous if they are trained and fast. Thats why i wanted to ask. Not in Krav now but i boxed so im a bit cynical against a lot of arts but Krav is one thnking of starting. Lets me see if i can find the video and have you guys say if it representative of krav. Edit- Here we go. Like i said. These wouldnt be my go to techniques even though the might work. Just seems to risqué.

That is also very tiring if it feels embarrassing. I was try to get at those conversations that are the opposite. Just fun, uplifting and flowing and suddenly woosh. In a minute without warning your Brain gets supertired and you feel that you haft to go and lie down. I wish i know what that was and exactly what is happening.

He probably knows you by now which is a good thing. Not sure what BA is but knowing that sounds good. I mean more afterwards. Since ADD is big block of problems it easy for that downward spiral to spin out of control. Too start noticing everything that is done wrong or is struggle which easily can get stored in the "this isn't suppose to be like this". Getting that sorted out right away and pinpointing the problems almost down to an elevator pitch has been very helpful i feel.

The strange thing is that it doesn't come gradually. This mental fatigue just hits the head in a minute and last for 1-2 hours if im lucky, worst case its the rest of the night. I am always tired so i think its me getting some sort of high were i am free of my ADD for an hour or so, and it comes back.

Im not talking about sometimes. I mean it happens several times a day but if i am in front of the computer i usually stop what i am doing and watch a series or something. I could never explain this to people properly because im pretty sure that if my head was in a scan, you'd see levels of dopamine just drop, or something shutting down. Thats how it feels. Very sudden and i become introverted and awkward, quite, staring, tired in my head and body. Like i said it is my normal state but the ups (where i can talk to people) comes gradually, but the down again just hits like a rock.

Anyways. Glad you know what im talking about. Being self conscience will surely make it worse i imagine or maybe you already are in the fog if you are in that state. Tried meds, it worked very well but im so got damn afraid of pills i have to force myself. Get a real diagnose. Can i give you a tip. You are here so i assume you already read a lot about Adhd. Try not to let that influence your testing. I mean self diagnose and just go in to get it on paper. Do it proper so you dont get worse. I seen that happen a lot. A few people getting much worse after being diagnosed and maybe that is because the mind switches to see only problems. Im not sure but i struggled a year to come back to who i was before, and see where the ADD caused me most damage in life. Good luck

How did you meet your best friend? by PsychoSevenin AskReddit

[–]D3PO 0 points1 point ago

He had just lost his toe and sat in a wheelchair in kindergarten the first day of introduction. I thought it was awesome and drove him around, mostly into the other kids pillowcastles. A strong memory for both of us is when we were watching the other kids in the playroom working together to build a castle. He looked at me and said - "Lets wreck it now!" - "Naah" i said and looked him in the eyes. "Lets wait till they are done" and we both laughed the most evil laugh. A year later he was out of his chair and it was no stopping us. Friends over 20 years

Varför finns termen New Atheism då?

[–]D3PO 1 point2 points ago

Nope, it's the definition.

http://www.ateism.se/definition.html

Ok.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_is_not_a_dictionary

He might also not want to be labeled a human, but that doesn't mean >that he isn't one.

Assume there is no God beacuse a lack of evidence."

Why I don't tell people I'm an atheist. (I blame the people of r/atheism...) (first 60 seconds) by dormioin videos

[–]D3PO 0 points1 point ago

I know you would misunderstand that.

Not in any context. The purest form is: "Lack of belief in god(s)." It says >nothing about rationality, ghosts, life forces, etc.

No the label absolutely more than that. You are talking about the original definition of atheism, which i addressed is not the context it is used in right here. You didn't even addressed that fact.

I don't think there's a distinction between these words in Swedish and >in American English. NDT is indeed agnostic, and unless he believes in >god, he's also an atheist. Even if he thinks that the question is useless, >he's still one or the other.

He specifically says that he doesnt like to be labeled Atheists. He even explains why with the same points i am making. That Atheist have a discourse as any other labeled groups and he doesnt want to be a part of it. Claiming him is wrong.

Agnostic atheism Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do not have belief in the existence of any deity, and agnostic because they do not claim to know that a deity does not exist.[16]

Apathetic or pragmatic agnosticism The view that there is no proof of either the existence or nonexistence of any deity, but since any deity that may exist appears unconcerned for the universe or the welfare of its inhabitants, the question is largely academic

Spiritual Agnostic Agnostics who follow a devoted practice to traditionally spiritual practices in the absence of the knowledge of God while being irreligious

Pick and choose. If anything Swedes according to the poll lean towards Spiritual Agnostics.

Why I don't tell people I'm an atheist. (I blame the people of r/atheism...) (first 60 seconds) by dormioin videos

[–]D3PO -2 points-1 points ago

No, atheism isn't rationality. It just means that you don't believe in >god(s), and that's it.

Well, not in this context. If we back atheism to its purest original form and accept what you just wrote. We disregard what agnostic atheism even means today and here on Reddit. Stretch agnostic atheism to its furthest and accept lifeforces and spirits. Than we can tightly fit those people there.

If we do that u.s atheists or r/atheism specifically cant claim Sweden to the same type of discourse that they got. This is what this discussion is about. If NDH was said he was a scientist and Swedish in an interview. You cant label or count him into the same sphere of U.S agnostic atheists. Over here that would simple mean he that he does believe in something, but he dont know. He is the modern day definition of "Agnostic" as we would use it. He said in the interview that he is "Ignostic" if i heard him right which says - "Does God exist?" is meaningless.
