I absolutely LOVE Hammock. Looking for other soft/ambient-ish post rock artists. by brandon7sin postrock

This is sort of the obvious reply but are you familiar with The Album Leaf? I wouldn't say he's an ambient artist per-se, but he has a good bit of ambientish stuff. A couple examples:

Also check out Amiina.

Where did your band name come from? Any specific story there or just something you thought sounded cool?

Any chance you could get him to do an AMA here? I absolutely love his music.

You guys are my favorite band at the moment.

What was the inspiration behind Anything You Synthesize and where did the title come from?

John, what's the latest with Zero Bedroom Apartment?

Any other side projects you guys have that we should check out?

Who are you listening to lately?

Also not really true. Chrome's dev tools are superior. For example, you can edit JS on the fly in Chrome.

Which is why I said Chrome and FF, and not just Chrome. Safari and IE aren't really competition nowadays anyways -- IE is still playing catch up for the most part and Safari's not doing anything special.

However, I probably should have included Opera for competition's sake I guess, since they're known for revolutionizing things.

That's like saying there are minor differences between Mac OSX and Linux since they're both Unix-based.

User interface, available extensions, open source vs. closed, feature set, release schedule, JS engine, development tools, these are not minor differences.

Take your dream world, replace Safari with Chrome and remove IE altogether and you've got my dream world.

Take a look at what my daughter said about her Ken doll. Reddit, what great quotes do you have from your kids? by hunterlakerin AskReddit

No, she was showing them that she doesn't have a ring on her finger, meaning she's not engaged, which Michael took to mean that she's single but she wasnt, etc.

Cool, thanks for the great reply. I recently started using Evernote more but I'm not a huge fan so I appreciate the info on simplenote.

I use Kippt, mainly because it's simple and you can do full text searches for your bookmarks so it's easy to find the one that you are looking for.

I ported the Command-T matcher to CtrlP by burkein vim

Gotcha. Now that I think about it I have been annoyed by that, I guess I never really thought much about it before. I'll give your matcher a shot, thanks!

OP, can you help me understand what purpose this serves? I used Command-T for about 6 months before finding CtrlP a few months ago and didn't really notice much of a difference. Is the assumption that CtrlP isn't as good at matching things as Command-T was, and this fixes that?
