Wanna run a Standard Boros deck for game day. Wat do I need?

You need silverblade paladin, champion of the parish, gather the townsfolk, you could TRY thatcher revolt (haven't playtested enough with this card to tell you it's good or not). I also really like stromkirk noble in the boros deck. He's really good in the mirror and he can get crazy big aswell.

Its annoying. I run 2 evolving wilds and 2 shimmering grotto for color-fixing, but it's kind of counterproductive to the aggro build of my R/W deck.

What about terminus even. That one is a big blowout, especially in those decks that spill out there hands!

A cool thing I found out while testing a R/W humans build. Everyone's thought the most damage you can do on turn 2 with a creature is 3 damage (delver or champion into gather the townsfolk). If you do... * turn 1 --> Champion * turn 2 --> Lightning Mauler (bond with Champion giving Mauler haste and pumping champion) Another sweet idea is lightning mauler and silverblade paladin is crazy! 8 damage turn 3 with no anthems is scary.

I was thinking of taking this to AVR Game Day. I've done a bunch of testing and the deck does very well against the new human decks coming out (Champion of Lambolt in particular), has some trouble with flyers. ADVICE OR HELP IS SUPER APPRECIATED!

Another problem I've been having is just getting the early mana. I wish we had a fast dual colored land for RW (hopefully coming in Return to Ravnica in shock form) for the early game.

I ran naya humans and placed 2nd out of about 30 people and yeah R/W just dominated, i ended up playing naya humans because I got the common and uncommon version of wolfir

I completely agree, blue and black did see some fringe play in my shop, but for the most part, naya humans really dominated.

A lot of people at my shop actually ran naya humans. Most people didnt end up pulling that many angels. Naya was acrually pretty balanced. It gavr you access to the common and uncommon versions of wolfir as well as some fog effects. Red was definitely an overperformer for me. I actually won 2 games off of the fire-breathing souldbond guy and the mini combo between thatchers revolt and kruin striker. All in all thouh, i think blue and black are basically inplayable in sealed. The people i played with those colors ended up having very clunky decks.

I disagree, in decks where countering isn't really important, for example, I have a UW humans (splashing blue for moorland haunt and geist of saint traft), this land isn't THAT devestating. It's not going to ridiculously overpowered, but it will give tribal decks more of a fighting chance against counter decks. In any deck that has spot removal, or BSZ, day of judgment, whipflare, any of these things doesn't care if the card being cast can't be countered. Similarly, the titans are cycling out, yes they make them an uncounterable bomb, but this isn't going to completely warp the meta! If this card came in tapped, or some other drawback, it wouldn't be good enough to be played! A lot of other people on this thread have mentioned it's drawbacks with GW humans and other decks. Naming humans in a GW deck is going to leave it WAY behind on noncreature spells and almost unable to utilize gavony township.

Sure, those are basically the same colors as Esper control (white-blue-black). I guess that'd be more of a tally version. You could also run frost Titan as yet another way to tap creatures down, pump the avenger and so on and so forth. I see a real neat deck coming!
