Sorta like the sound in some FPS games when a bomb hits near you? All you hear is a faint ringing sound. I think that would be sweet... but either way, something to definitely make his utli make your jaw drop would be sweet. I like the idea of silencing the game volume.

What makes the game better? Context please. Because there are mods that are not a complete overhaul (such as the ones included in the starter pack) that improve the textures/lighting/etc tremendously but do not change the game completely. THIS is fine on your first play through. I just wound't recommend mods that completely make the game something else for a first timer.

Well no. What some of these people recommended you was complete overhaul mods. It completely changes the game.

If your looking for mods to fix bugs while still experiencing the 'vanilla' game look at the STALKER mod starter pack or even just ZRP (zone reclamation project). All it does is fix the bugs while leaving game play the same.

There's a difference between improving the experience and changing the experience completely. Which is why I said, play vanilla/unmodded/without complete overhaul mods.

This! It's the exact reason I don't believe in New Years Resolutions. If you want to change something about you or your lifestyle so badly... why do you need to wait to new years? Why do you need an event to signify the change. If you want to change so badly, just change today!!

No damnit.... play WITHOUT mods first... ALWAYS without mods on your first play through.... why are people in this sub reedit obsessed with playing with mods first, it makes me fume! pls pls pls trust me when i say, play without mods first! the order that kodak said is correct, however, play it without moods first!
