Thanks a lot! And I've been meaning to buy one of those 360 controllers as well. I think I can stretch my budget to $600 and get that video card. This looks pretty much perfect, I'll be ordering it soon. Thanks again:)

Did anyone else see that tackle on Aaron Ramsey?? by Caglar-in soccer

Well it's a post about a horrific tackle I kind of expected that people would know that the pictures and footage are graphic in nature. I'll still add a disclaimer.
Yeah it was definitely a mistake, Shawcross looked distraught after it happened. I think he was actually crying as he walked off the pitch.

Hey, sorry about the late reply, I was away for the past few days. I plan to use the computer for a bit of everything, I'm not exactly a hardcore gamer but I do have a Steam account and every once in awhile I love to play Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty, Company of Heroes, Total War or the Civilization games. So a computer that could handle those would be appreciated.
The problem I seem to have is with choice, there are so many options when it comes to choosing one simple option such as a video card that I have no idea what to go for.
I am in Canada and normally do order all my electronics from NCIX.com however I have been using laptops for the past 10 years so this is my first time having to build a desktop PC. Anyway, I would definitely appreciate it if you could send me a cart to take a look at. Thanks for taking the time!
I just checked out the website but the lowest guide I could find was for $700...

I just had my first lucid dream! by Caglar-in happy
The realism of the whole experience really did shock me, it was no different from reality. I think regular dreaming is now going to become very boring.

I felt pretty much the same when I woke up, not tired in any way. The sky is limit once you can have control during the dreams, as long as you can imagine it you can do it. And I have only had one but it was so much more vivid than everyday dreams, it was no different from reality apart from the fact that I had all these awesome supernatural powers.
It's not as common, I started telling my friends about it and they hadn't heard of it but after my success most of them are now actively pursuing it.
I know the feeling about being excited, after flying I tried to create a planet and that is what made me loose control of the dream. I'm going to try and take it a bit more easy next so that I just get used to the feeling of being in control.
You should work on getting some more in, I do not think I can settle for just a few every now and then:)
You must have such an awesome time whenever you go to bed, I was really shocked by how it way more vivid than my regular dreams! Apart from being able to do supernatural things everything was just as vivid as it is in everyday life.
I did it exactly like Neo at the end of the only Matrix movie. I basically just believed I could do it and I was up in the air!
That was the exact feeling I had the moment it dawned on me that I was dreaming.

This is definitely something I plan on trying out as soon as I have more control.
I play the electric guitar and I really look forward to finding ways in which I can integrate this into my dreams.

I will definitely try and be much more reserved the next time it happens, I was just so damn excited that it had actually worked this time!

After reading all these IAMA I decided to finally try it out, it's taken me two weeks but there only two things I started doing; started keeping a dream journal and as the days went by I started remembering each of my dreams more vividly. The second thing was to simply set my alarm two hours before waking up and going back to bed, once I started doing this I was dreaming just about everyday.
As for the context, I was actually dreaming about having dinner with my friends then it just hit me that I was actually dreaming! The first thing I did was to imagine my childhood home and a second later there I was! I decided to take it one step further and try flying, at this point I did just imagine I was a Neo, very simple kick to the ground and I was off. However the excitement got too much when I attempted to create a planet and ended up waking up.
Another interesting thing I noticed is the fact that my lucid dream was so much more vivid than any other dream I had ever had, everything was just as clear as it is in every day life.
