Just dropped, first time, alone ! by NewInParisin LSD

[–]Belligerently_Horny 1 point2 points ago

I don't know you, but let me tell you that I hope you have the time of your life. If you are able to take a walk somewhere without running into people you don't know, I would highly recommend it. Call a good friend of yours if you feel so inclined, one you trust, or even meet up. Conversations with others are quite fascinating, as the usual walls blocking true communication are obliterated by love and empathy, at least in my experiences.

I will be eager to hear how your first time went, so please don't forget to tell all about it :)

Former lift operator here.

At my hill (Ski Liberty, Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania) we were required to scan EVERYBODY every single time. It was a waste of time, but we had to do it to "keep our numbers up throughout the day." Management only cared about keeping our scanning consistent, and we would get shit all the time for not scanning enough.

On behalf of my fellow lift operators, I apologize for scanning you guys repeatedly. We hate doing it too :/

This is the closest visual representation of a Salvia experience that I have ever seen. by Belligerently_Hornyin Drugs

I've had maybe 20 or 30 experiences. Some were nightmares of inexplicable horror, others were mind-fuckingly awesome and hilarious. It's hit or miss, but I love Salvia either way :)

Sorry to hear you don't like it. Many people don't. Maybe I'm just weird.

How did you discover your interest in philosophy? by roland333in philosophy

[–]Belligerently_Horny 0 points1 point ago*

I watched Fight Club, which led me to IMDB. This led me to Nietzsche, and his "ubermensch". I've always been interested, but this sort of drew me into the realm.

Edit: Existentialism really caught my eye, and opened it for that matter.

My buddy drew this in roughly 4 hours. I think it deserves better than Facebook. by EchoNotesin gaming

I'm getting really tired of this "my buddy...", "my friend..." shit. Why don't you introduce them to reddit instead?

Multiple news reports of Romney winning Nevada, with only 45% reporting. This is wrong. by Belligerently_Hornyin politics

Clark county? 5.8% reporting? Calling Romney the winner there? I admit I'm not good with statistics, and probably in the eyes of most people here I look downright ignorant and dumb, but please explain to me how that makes sense.

Clark has more swing than all other counties combined and they seem to be ignoring it.

What about Clark county? 5.8% reporting (62/1073) and they count that as a win for Romney. Clark has more swing than all of the other counties combined.

So because they do it in every state, it's ok?

It's unethical to come to the conclusion that an individual has won a particular event with only 45% of the votes counted. It's not even half. The results with 100% reporting could be vastly different.

Let's say that, hypothetically, Christianity is fact and it one day turns out that God and the Devil are living on Earth as well known figures. Which well known figure would be God, which would be the Devil and why? by mistergookeyin AskReddit

Think about it. Romney's actions have destroyed lives and impoverished entire towns. Paul's actions are for the people, he's the least self-centered well known figure I know.
