To make the structure have more integrity I would recommend playing more DOTA 2 with Bamx.

It is a great job to make some quick cash that if used wisely can improve your quality of life. Work a couple years taking all the OT you can. Get as much experience you can and before you know it you have some money to go back to school and continue your education. If you work in the right area its very easy to get a job. I work in Mass and RI for a 911 city and a private. Its pretty hard not to have at least two jobs. As far as young energy goes it all depends on where you work. Walking dead is on gotta go!

Go Ellen! Go JCPenneys too for not giving in to those hateful old hags at OMM. I'll be shopping at JCPenneys now. by SdstcChpmnkin videos

Does anyone else realize that JC Penny probably did this because its controversial. JC Penny is the real winner here because its free publicity.

Tomorrow is my first EMT ride-a-long at 7AM. I've got all of my gear together. Wish me luck. :) by Zaccrick86in ems

It really makes me worry that you are an instructor and advise people that they are going to get "made fun of" for trying to have decent equipment in preparation to a job. Maybe a seasoned medic can get a blood pressure with a fisher price scope but for someone who is not that experienced it may be a little harder. Most services carry absolute garbage scopes. New basics do not have the focus on exactly what you are doing and not what others are doing mentality. On top of that its pretty nasty putting something in your ears when you really have no idea the last person to use it. Who is it "too bad" for? The kid who makes up a pressure because he couldn't hear it and doesn't want to come off as stupid on his first day or the patient with the unstable blood pressure? You may want to come off as a hard ass seasoned medic but I think it may be time to hand off the teaching belt and move on to another field. Medical nonsense aside your attitude is just shitty.

I disagree 100%. Even as a basic there is no reason why you shouldnt have a stethoscope. Having a well made one will make getting a blood pressure much easier for you and as an EMT B this is going to be one of your most used skills. No reason why you can't listen to lung sounds. Its a noninvasive skill and can tell you alot even with basic knowledge. If you plan on continuing your medical career there is no reason you shouldn't get a jump on these things. Have fun and be safe.
