Got it, I had assumed the call box was one of those phones mounted inside an apartment. In that case since your on ICS you're kinda SOL, you'll need to use CyanogenMod to do this.

I create a profile for launching a Menu of music apps when I plugin my headphones that workly fairly well. However after a recent update (sometime in the last month or so) I've been having issues.

When I first made it I had a problem where the menu would appear when I got a call as for some reason the Dialer resets the headphone state, so I added a timer so it will not launch again if the state resets within 30 minutes of the profile being activated.

After an update (I forget which), after those 30 minutes the menu pops up again, as apparently when it expires it resets the state again! I have then added a variable so it will flip the variable when the profile is active then clear it when it exits (I disconnect the headphones) but I'm not sure this will work.

Can anyone who has set this up offer advice?

I'm going to be getting her a jewelry box. She has a ton of jewelry but keeps it in the dresser drawer and it drives me insane as there's a lot of gold in there just sliding around. I'm part of a large group that helps with an annual convention and occasionally someone in the group will have a get together or event. Because of how busy i am i dont get to attend these as much as i want to. Last year one of them hosted a lan party and for once i had time to go, on top of that i love lan parties and dont get invited to them often. I had just built a new computer so i brought it with me to the party and set up. A lot of them are socially awkward so i made some small talk as i set up. Once things got in full swing i was enjoying myself, then people started throwing around slurs and phrases such us "NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER" and "Shut your whore mouth!" Which are apparently memes. I guess this was cool with everyone there as they were all shouting phrases like this but it was seriously bizarre to her people saying it out loud, i was also the one african guy there so it felt really strange to hear these things. I felt like a complete outsider and quickly lost interest. I used to think they were all relatively mature and intelligent individuals but that night completely changed how i saw them.
