Not Roosevelt. I made a rash decision and decided to do a 3 year program so I can get it over with instead of the traditional 4 year program. I got interviews to top schools but decided to settle for the one that gave me the quickest acceptance notice. I'll definitely explore and research private loan brokers, but I doubt there interest rates, especially for the amount I'm borrowing, will be any better than what I'm already being offered.

Well it's a private school and a 3-year program. I was thinking a private loan broker, but I believe my mother would have to cosign for me. I don't want my mother to have to carry the burden of my debts if I'm not able to pay them off after I graduate. Stafford Loan is currently at 7%, while GradPlusloan is at 8%, you think I can find anything that's lower than that?

There's no more federally subsidized loans for grad students after july 1, 2012; and I'm planning to take out $45k at least to cover my tuition. My mom is helping me out with room and board.
