You could use the MCMMO bukkit plugin. With excavation at a certain level, you get slimeballs from clay. With fishing at lvl 150, you can 'fish' items off of mobs. I recently got 32+ slimeballs from a single giant slime.

ME here: Are you interested in gears, engines, material strength, machinery, Newtons 3 laws (dynamic physics)?

If you look at it, ME students tend to get taught a little in each large engineering focus (enough to get you by), and a lot on mechanical situations. I look at ME people as the Jack of all Trades of Engineers.

That said... if you would like to focus more on a single topic and 'master' it, then maybe ME isnt for you.

Also, just look at what you are most interested in learning, don't focus on money. With the exception of a few specified engineers, many make the same general pay range (almost all above 50k a year minimum)

Lastly, try asking /r/engineeringstudents and /r/engineering

These center of masses are considering that the person is standing. In this image, we have to consider that he is sitting, his legs are pushed out slightly and his head is pushed forward. Not to mention, we have to think about the chair's center of mass. With this said, the center of mass could be plausibly along the red line that Mmm_Creepers suggested.

The last thing to look at is that the chair legs are not completely on the back of the bench, but are still (by appearance) flat to the back of the bench. This would mean it has enough surface to grip on and not pivot as much as a flat surface balancing along an edge.

I deam this possible, but unlikely.

I think another good option would be to have a server or world in a server dedicated to teaching redstone. Although, it would be troublesome to deal with griefers.

You see, when I think of a mechanical watch, I like to see the entire system. With the ALS watches, for the most part they are all just a small hole with mechanics that are visible. Given, I do not know much about watches yet, and I do agree, that 'obnoxious' is a little exaggerated, but that's my outlook on ALS.

I just googled Patek, A.Lange and Sohne mechanical watches, and am still trying to figure out why you put Lange and Sohne in there. Each had only 1 decent mechanical watch that I could find, but they were both over-complicated and obnoxious. I, being a fan of mechanical watches, will have to agree with your input of Patek though. He is also now on my buy list. Edit: If, of course, I could ever save up $25,000 and justify spending it on a watch
