He probably needed a security clearance. They ask for a lot of references for that. I had to get one before I was in the Army.

Any coral farmers (small scale or large scale) out there? Looking to jump back into the hobby and eventually turn it into a business. by Absolutekindin AskReddit

[–]Absolutekind[S] 0 points1 point ago

Small corals, 1 inch by 1 inch can sell for $15 up. Large colonies of corals can sell for $60+. It's really a matter of the upfront investment of the system, and building a website to sell the corals.

Facing the "I have a degree but no experience problem." Any advice for business majors without experience on finding a job after graduation? We're not all unemployed, are we?!? by Absolutekindin AskReddit

[–]Absolutekind[S] 0 points1 point ago

That works if you're currently living where you will work. However, my wife accepted a position where will be moving to and I have to apply remotely. Still, I totally agree with you.

What event has happened in your life that you cannot explain to this day? by audizzyin AskReddit

As a kid, I had "guys in my eyes." Every time I closed my eyes I would see two masked men hanging outside a camping trailer doing absolutrly nothing. Fucks with me to do this day.

I'm a Veteran who recently graduated with a Business degree. Thinking about starting a career in government, likely the VA. Any advice from Vets working in the VA or other agencies, mainly administration positions, can give me? by Absolutekindin AskReddit

[–]Absolutekind[S] 0 points1 point ago

Yeah, that's an excellant point. Office management is defiantly not ideal.

I'm not extremely worried about the experience. A degree in the field, like a business degree, along with "A.A (academic achievement)" can qualify me for up to a GS-9, depending on the agency. Of course, being a veteran with 30% disability also gives me extreme preference.

What did you end up doing?
