Anyone who played back then remembers the Indalamar video. Blizzard even created a items in tribute to him, I believe because after the video was released, he was actually hired by Blizzard to be an Item developer.

Ramaladni's Icy Grasp in Vanilla

Ramaladni's Blade of Culling in WOTLK

Try not to focus on the numbers Pat's generating, but the number of PLAYERS he's mowing down. Same for Indalamar, but with mobs. Those are level 58-60 mobs, he's 60.

Dude, at 60 he's doing 1500 damage and 2.5k crits. That's fucking insane. That is a literal one-shot at that level. No wonder they were nerfed.

I think he said that so people that were used to WoTLK numbers didn't come in here and think it was shit damage.

True, I guess I was just excited.

His style of play is archaic at this point - WotLK players are accustomed to gathering up the entire zone and AOEing the whole mess down, without much hassle.

WotLK mobs have less life, and a correspondingly lesser will to live. I always see vanilla mobs run away when I get them to low health - but anything I attack in Northrend usually stays put, awaiting its fate...

That's because they hate WoTLK and just want to unsubscribe until Cata drops, but they can't do that while logged in, and therefore must die.

Wow and to think I never came across this guy before.. it's nice to discover new things in WoW, even if it's actually 'old' things.

As for me what really got me hooked on warriors was this video, which I watched over and over and over...

It's the 2Her off of the Rend event in UBRS.

You're absolutely right. If you look at the bottom left he still has "Attack" on his bar and it shows the icon of the axe. Good call! :)

Actually, there are some extremely awesome Mage videos form Vanilla that use Aphex twin as inspiration. The guy was fire spec. I'll have to find the videos but I'd be surprised if anything has gotten as good as that. Give me a few to get the link.
