I am simultaneously excited and annoyed by this new radio station (was 96.3 Now and before that B96). They are playing the strangest combination of a handful of current top 40 hits, mixed with a whole boatload of 90s alternative. Garbage, Cake, Foo Fighters, 311, Third Eye Blind, Semisonic, Soul Asylum, Fastball, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, etc. Most of what they play reminds me of the station Drive 105 back in 1997-1998 which was my favorite year of music ever. It is just pretty fucked up to hear 3 awesome alt hits followed up by Creed or Nickleback or the same damned Gavin DeGraw song that they play twice an hour. I am holding out hope because the bulk of it is so great, but... seriously.
