Here is a relative story that happened tonight:

My mom bought be a pineapple carver and tonight was the first time I used it. Safeway had a mountain of Pineapples on sale this week so I bought three. On a side note, pineapples are the coolest fucking fruit, aesthetically speaking. So, this contraption my mom bought me basically works like an apple-corer, it separates the the core (and the thistle-like exterior) from the fruit AS IT CUTS IT INTO ONE GIANT SPIRAL! So yeah, that's awesome right? Well, after you pull out the fruit, you have half-a-pineapple worth of juice left in the the now hollowed out shell which you are welcome to drink at your own leisure thanks to the pineapple's rugged structural integrity. Awesome right? Well, it gets better. After drinking the sweet nectar from the pineapple; and after eating the sweet succulent fruit; I noticed the pineapple had the perfect dimensions for a water pipe - so I filled it with some fresh tap water and a few ice cubes and made the necessary modifications to the pineapples using minimal provisions thanks to the fruit's malleable soft flesh. Anyways, I smoked a bowl out of this all-organic water pipe when I realized what a heavenly piece of fruit the pineapple truly is...and how awesome my mom's pineapple carving gadget is as well. So, thank you mother nature and mother human for the gifts that made my night pretty spectacular.

I hate being a dick in this subreddit.. I like it being the happy place of Reddit, but really? I think we actually get a post asking this every other day. It's like people wander off the main subreddits and completely forget there's still a search function.

I love /trees but I'm getting sick of the "what's with the pineapple references?" and "What are those numbers[5]?"

I would say those questions hit the front page of /trees at least 4 times a week. Not only that but there is a link to the explanations on the front of /trees at all times.

I propose we start messing with people who ask these questions just for our own entertainment.

Okay! I'll talk! In third grade, I cheated on my history exam. In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max's toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play. In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog...When my mom sent me to the summer camp for fat kids and then they served lunch I got nuts and I pigged out and they kicked me out...But the worst thing I ever done -- I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa -- and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life.

That's what pineapples mean to me.
