look at the small pictures next to their cast bars and mark them. ask for op leader before the game starts and mark them. the mark stays even if they die

...

Damn thats such a good idea.

This will help. Unfortunately you can't pass Ops Lead in a WZ, though.

Also, healing spells are usually green in an enemy's cast bar.

Additional trick, the slash command for marking someone is '/mark #' with the number referring to which icon is veing placed on the target. This slash command makes it possible to make a keyboard macro on some keyboards for marking enemy healers.

Came here to say this. I wonder though, can they see when you've marked them?

no

Sorry to be a noob but how do I actually mark someone? I've seen the menu of marks when Op leader but never used it.

rightclick on their picture, -> mark

Thanks!

The icon on their cast bar will be green. Green icons = healing spells.

Hey hey hey now... calm down people, there is no reason to spread all the lies I see in this thread.. In truth there is no way to tell who is healing and so you should not worry about such things and just focus on killing the tanks. :)

this man speaks the truth, listen to him!

I see what you did there, nice try.

Whoever isn't shooting lightning out of their hands is a healer.

Ones away from the pack are healers most of the time. Very rarely do I see healers wade into melee unless it's to knock people back.

Trust your senses, Syberduh. Open yourself to the flow of the force and only then will your saber guide you towards the correct enemy.

Scoundrel heal has green beam (not as visible as the commandos one), too. Also if he stands there and casts he's 100% heal. dps scoundrel/ops are melee so they wouldn't stand there and cast much.

Sorcs: The one not spamming "LIGHTNING BOLT!" 100% of the time is their healer. Harder to tell for sages, I guess.

Sages periodically have a ayellow mist between them and their target, or hold up their arms and glow brightly, right before a yellow spot on the ground starts to mass heal their friends.

Wait, why am I telling you how to tell when I'm healing?!

[–]I_make_things 0 points1 point ago

I too occasionally have a yellow mist between me and my target.

Wait, you mean in the game?

What??? This is crazy talk! You should never target enemy healers, you should always just let them do their thing in peace! ;)

[–]NaldaenThurl Garanhir - Prophecy of the Five 1 point2 points ago

Look for guarded targets with a tank hovering around them, then go kill dps on the other side of the map.

Assuming you're playing a good team, that is.

[–]spantasticOperative 1 point2 points ago

They usually stand back without any casting attack animations?

[–]Shownder 0 points1 point ago

Generally speaking if I see them shooting out anything that is green coloured and/or the spell icon next to their cast bar is green in majority, then they are healing.
