No. You are the only person, out of everyone who plays this game, who avoids magic. Not one in the millions of people who play this has avoided magic. No future player will avoid magic.

It is just you.

Well to make you feel a bit bettr lol, i didnt use magic or enchantments with my orc two hander, i liked straight blunt damage (so-to-speak) but i did enchant soul trap on my daedric sword so i can level my enchanting, thats about it, except a ring and amulet

I think that's pointless. Why wouldn't you use that to your advantage?

Nords don't need magic. Why make your hands glow like a milkdrinker when you can just cut people apart with this nice Nord steel sword? Go do that magic stuff somewhere else.

Some people go all magic. I just think it's time for something different. To me it makes more sense that at least one race would be anti-magic. Seems kinda silly to have a world where everyone is born knowing the same two spells.

As a sword and board user, having to menu into magic just took most of the advantageous part away from it. If they had a hotkey on the Xbox to switch to magic, it would be so much more advantageous. The same goes for now and arrow. There is also the role playing aspect. Maybe you're someone who doesn't use magic for moral reasons

Your directional pad can be used for a list of favorites. Favorite an item/spell/whatever with the Y button

DOH!

I do this on my 3rd char as part of my RP scheme.

I did play with magic on other chars, and have a level 22 pure mage.

Right now i am playing an orc that hates magic. But, i'm allowing enchantments and shouts since he only uses orc armor and weapons. He makes Lydia wear all orc gear too.

My first character was all magic, so i made my next character, a rogue use no magic except illusion, and my warrior use only restoration. It's fun setting up rules to play by when you have so many options.

I stuck to sneaking with a bow at first. Then I would use the occasional healing spell. After my sneak got to 100 I wanted to play from a different angle and started upgrading mage and actually using destruction.

I've only used "Clairvoyance" a few times to get across some of the annoying mountain paths, but that's it. Bow for long-game, dual wield dagger/nightblade for my short-game. Potions take care of any problems otherwise.

I play a thief, so I really try not to use magic. My Nightingale Armor is enchanted, along with my daggers, and I will use scrolls as a last resort weapon, seeing as I have a stock pile of them. Otherwise, no. I don't think certain character types should focus on magic at all. Why level up a skill when you don't need it?

I'm planning on eventually making a Khajiit who doesn't use magic at all. Currently I have a Nord who uses Restoration and my next character will be a pure Mage Dunner though.

While I usually don't comment on these DAE threads (because yes, there's always someone), I will say that my current character only uses enchanted weapons and potions. I've never cast any spell except for a few healing shots at level 1. At level 40 now, and still have 100 magic points and no magic-related perks. It works well enough.
