I'm tired of working with Best Buy. Do any of you run a computer repair place, or know of a reliable one?

Well, at the moment my laptop keeps burning out chargers. I'm not sure what the issue is. Though, I think it may have to do with the battery. More than that, I've been looking for a reliable and honest guy/store to work with.

I assume that the next charger you get will be under warranty. If so it's worth a try to take out the battery and only use your laptop when plugged in. That way you can tell if the battery has anything to do with it.

How old is the laptop?

Sounds like you may be buying the wrong plugs. Make sure the Amp/Volts are correct for your're laptop (the bottom may have a label). Burning power supplies is generally because you are pulling to much or too little power through them (they are overtaxed or overheat from under utilization).

At work at the moment. Plus dealing with a death in the family tonight (just found out an hour ago).

I just started teaching myself Processing. I do software testing now, but want to break into engineering. Maybe a rain check, are you anywhere near OB?

Thanks, It's my girl's uncle. It's shitty, I just got back Sunday from my cousins funeral. 2012 is turning into an interesting year.
