Nope, but JEMS next weekend!

I've been to NCEMSF twice, but this year I decided to go to JEMS instead.

NCEMSF is a good time. My only suggestion is to take lectures that you wouldn't be able to do with your squad or in EMT class. A few of the lectures aren't much more than a review of EMT class. Most importantly, get out there and network with other agencies. Many of them are faced with similar issues and it's fun to see the different solutions people have come up with.

Ditto.

So my squad will be competing in the JEMS games for the first time. Anyone want to let me know what to expect? I hear that the scenarios are really complicated compared to the normal ones for EMT Test Outs.

I was going to go but waited too long and plane tickets became too expensive. I think there are 6 or 8 people from my squad going though. I have yet to make it but everyone always comes back happy. What's better than getting a bunch of collegiate EMS providers together to drink for 3 days?

I tell myself every year that I'm going, then don't. So... nope.
