Disappointing, but not tragic. I hate to see precedent set like this, but they have a right to create the type of environment that is conducive to selling coffee. I see their point.

I typically only vape in bars anyway. It's just too new and too off-putting for most people in environments where people don't expect to see smoke. I figure by respecting this type of boundary I'm representing vapers as respectful people and reinforcing that we're not hurting anyone. The more positive associations people can make with vaping and vapers the better.

I completely agree with building on the perception that we as a community are respectful people, the more we can disassociate ourselves from analog users the better.

Looks like I'll be buying Tully's beans to grind at home next time instead of Starbucks.

You can smoke and/or vape in front of my Mr. Coffee machine. Plus the coffee's better than Starbucks.

When ever I go to Starbucks or any coffee shop, I just get my coffee and go.

I can't really see this as bad news. If a company doesn't want to allow it, thats fine. If people really wanna vape and have coffee, there are plenty of other coffee shops that do just as well, if not better then Starbucks.

I guess I didn't get the memo about Starbucks banning Electronic Cigarettes in their establisments. | http://goo.gl/LFVhU

Yeah, I'm not hipster enough to hang out inside a Starbucks. Plus, I make 99% of my coffee at home in a French press. This stuff is infinitely better than anything Starbucks ever put out: http://www.mthoodroasters.com/

Yeah, I only drink Kopi Luwak, excreted by my own domesticated civet cats, beans roasted in a clay radiant drum roaster solar-warmed by parabolic mirrors, ground in a mortar-and-pestle crafted by the indigenous peoples of Monaco, and brewed Turkish-style in a brass Ibrik blessed by a Macauian monk.

Because I'm not hipster enough to hang out in Starbucks.

I think the fact you use a french press makes you a hipster ;)

I'm not enough of a hipster for starbucks, plus i make my coffee in this obscure way that I bet they don't even know about.

My 60+ year old mother owns a french press.... I don't really think that qualifies you as a hipster. Just a connoisseur.

Starbucks sells French Presses, so I think they probably know about them.

Just joking with ya, I'd love a French press. But my lazy ass would never take advantage if it.
