I just started the campaign with some friends ( only done the first mission and failed on the second ). I'd like to know if there are various types of aliens and different type of things you need to shoot ?

There's some info on the enemies. I'm not sure how complete it is, but the Aliens section looks pretty complete.
I've only played one easy campaign though.

Watch out for those fucking spider things. If they jump on you, you get infected and you won't survive unless you have a medic healing you. Lasts like 10 seconds. They're like the size of a penny on your screen.

Parasites, yeah. The other way to defend yourself is to use the electrified armor gadget and hit it whenever one jumps on, they'll be knocked off pretty quickly (but you'll still probably need healing).

First time I saw these it was with a bunch of noobs playing our first time, no one was a medic, it was a slaughter.
