no matter what is happening, it usually ends up being "Go outside and videotape/watch it!"

Funny, seeing as this was the first reaction of my family. Also funny since there was nothing to see/watch.

My sister immediately went outside too, which I thought was funny. I would have done the same, but I went to see if my dad had felt it.

Aftershocks from an earthquake that hit Oklahoma this morning.. I felt it too just now; I'm in the fourstates area too @_@

It wasn't an aftershock. It was larger than the first one.

The local news is having a heyday. Apparently a house in Rose Hill, KS (quite literally 5 miles directly south of me) was damaged by the quake. Also, the USGS just upgraded it to a 5.6.

Really? In Rose Hill? Sheesh. I mean, if it was strong enough for my candle to move on a shelf and almost fall off, then I'm sure it did more damage around the state somewhere.

God is punishing you for your excessive tolerance to minorities.

I'm from Salina, KS. Just got off work. I was bartending a wedding of 200 people, I didn't feel anything and I don't think anyone else did either, because nobody said anything (everyone was pretty drunk though.) But apparently everybody on Facebook felt it.

Even massive flat areas need to wiggle a bit sometimes.
