Last time someone asked this question the Jersey Shore was born... let's not let this happen again.

I have a pretty interesting group of friends.

There's six of us, three guys and three girls. We're all in our twenties. I'm a chef and my brother works in a museum. His college roommate works in a big company and is living with an actor. I live with my best friend from high school who works in fashion and my old roommate is a masseuse/singer.

Basically all we do is drink coffee or hang out in my apartment, but I think it would make an entertaining TV show.

I think I've seen that show, I think it's called Friends.

Everyone thinks they're funny when they're high. Just saying. :)

edit: they're, their, there. Apparently this still baffles me.

take the show "friends", for example. What the hell was that show about? just friends getting into situations.

We always thought a show could be all about the frat I hung out at in college. Some pretty entertaining situations happened.

You are friends with them because they are interesting to you. Everybody's group of friends is really interesting to them...that's why they are friends.

My workplace would be a perfect 'The Office' knockoff. I work in a TV studio with a bunch of nerds and the dynamic is reality show worthy. I'm one of 4 girls, with a crew of 28, but it's still like working in a locker room, because nothing is taboo.

Isn't there already a show called "Weeds?"

Definitely - most of my friends are into two or more of the following: BDSM, polyamory, the queer community, nudism, body modification, trees, atheism/paganism, fetish porn (as in performing in)... yeah, we're fun

i don't mean to say that we get into situations because of weed (even though sometimes we do), i'm just saying that each of my friends has such a different personality that it would make for a good show.

My friends and I (a group of 5 people, including me) always kick it at this coffee shop in downtown once a week at around 12am. It reminds me of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Even the coffee shop it self looks like that one place the characters of FRIENDS hang out at. The couches and everything. I say my friends and I should start a modern version of FRIENDS >:) I'll think of my lovely redditors when I'm famous.

Everyone thinks that. No you won't.

YOU'D enjoy the TV show about your group of friends. Just like I'd enjoy the TV show about my friends, but you probably wouldn't. We enjoy their company, that's why we picked them as our friends.

Is this the first after DAE where the answers was "Yes. Absolutely everyone else, actually"?

I think everybody thinks this. The sad truth is that if you actually recorded yourselves (after getting over that awkward "nobody says anything because the camera is on" phase) you'd see you aren't nearly as funny or interesting as you think. And even if you still think you are, most other people wouldn't.

Not to say you and your friends are lame or anything... it's just that most people aren't interested in the simply daily loves of others and most people are quite interested in the simple daily lives of themselves :P

The friends I made on my hall last school year--it was a multilingual Asian/Middle Eastern languages dorm and we had a fairly eclectic mix of people on the Chinese/Farsi floor. Individually we weren't overly unique or anything, but our group chemistry was ridiculous and we managed to cause more shenanigans than any other group in the dorm. Such as: one of my hallmates left his room unlocked over Thanksgiving and he came back to find the entire thing filled thigh-high with balloons. We then shoved all 600 of the balloons into the elevator and onto Japanese floor.)

Just dumb college kids with a weird sense of humor.

the experiences i have with my close friends mean too much to me to be reduced to a TV show, even though they might not be that exciting to others. i'm too preoccupied with experiencing my friendship with my friends to think about how we'd be perceived by others.
