We used to sell bags of Wether's Originals for a dollar at my old job, and my boss and I would buy a bag every Monday, split it, and eat them for the rest of the week. That's one of the few things I miss about that place.

Actually, neither of my parents really liked it. I think I just stumbled upon that candy when I was young and loved it. I forgot about them for a while, but I came across them again at a convenience store and stocked up (and have never been happier candy-wise). <3

Yes. They remind my of my grandma. She used to hide sweets in various drawers or bowls all over her house and we'd have an awesome time finding them. She carried on doing in when she was in a wheelchair and in a ton of pain from arthritis. I miss her.

What was even better was those Werther's Chocolates. Not what they are carrying now, those new caramel chocolate swirl things. These were the regular hard Werther's original coated in chocolate. God they were amazing, I ate more of these than I'd like to admit. But of course they discontinued them.

I'm trying to quit smoking and I've gone through 3 bags in 2 weeks. I'm sucking on one right now.

Their advantage over other candy is that they last a long time, and the taste of caramel doesn't make you sick after the 40th piece of candy.
