It's not simply that this is a repost. They happen. Funny, I got one of these for Easter... Do you happen to live in Toronto?

I found the bacon a bit too salty for the sweetness of the chocolate. Little pieces were best.

Sadly, the packaging lies, there is no glorious wad of pork in a single slab of happiness, the bacon has been chewed up and spit out by machines.

the bacon would be impossible to neat neatly. Thick bacon is very chewy and having a lump of meat that will never be the same shape or size in the middle of a bar of chocolate that needs to be just wouldn't work. I always knew it would be bacon bits when I bought my first 6 and now eeh occasional one I grab now that they are more widely available around me. The bacon you get has very good flavor to me and some very nice saltiness to offset the very good milk chocolate. It is all taste but really this could have been way way worse.

I agree with everything you say, except I feel your assessment is too generous. Maybe a 1.8/5 for me. I know I made better chocolate covered bacon myself. Just fried some bacon and melted some chocolate.
