Not bacon related, by my grandfather would take his lunch, a pasty made by my Welsh grandmother, and stick it on top the exhaust manifold of his Allis Chamers tractor as he worked the fields. They were frozen and by lunch, it would be cooked to perfection.

You should probably stop linking to your Facebook photos, Michael! It makes getting info about you much easier. I would recommend using imgur instead.
