Or: Get a job anywhere else and buy your own bacon.

But if you do that, you are only limited to eating bacon outside of work hours (unless you have a really awesome job that allows you to cook and eat bacon all day).

I worked at wendy's. They'll fire you on the spot for eating food. I once saw a girl grab a chicken nugget right before the old ones were dumped into the trash, she was fired right then and there.

We had one of those penny pincher managers once. Luckily he only worked one night a week.

Ironically, he ended up getting fired because he lost a bank drop at the dog track and when he didn't have a good excuse the store owner audited all of his book keeping and found out he'd been "borrowing" money from the store for years. Which explains why he was always a stickler about the food costs.

When that guy wasn't there I used to eat bacon like it was going out of style.

Fast food bacon should not have you this excited. It is the eMachine of the bacon market. You should start looking for a job where they sell quality bacon to gorge yourself on daily.

For what it's worth, eMachines is now owned by Acer and they make a decent computer.

I sell and repair computers. I would never buy an Acer, but would oddly buy an eMachine if I was being cheap as hell. Just going from experience. I work on about 20 bad computers a day.

For what it's worth, I'm in the same boat (own a local computer shop) and my experiences haven't shown negativity to Acer. Most of the hardware problems I come across are compaq/hp, whereas the Dells and Acers are all user problems, not manufacturing or shoddy hardware.

Yeah. When it comes down to it they all suck equally in the long run.

Sorry, but I thought Wendys bacon was really good. It was even better when we didn't have time to throw it in the oven and instead dropped it in the fry basket and cooked it super quick in fry oil.

I once worked the grill line at Zigermann's in Ann Arbor, one of the highest rated Deli's in the US and I would nom nom nom on the bacon all the time, it was what I imagine what heaven would be like if it existed. The bacon was the expensive organic free-range pigs only fed organic feed super-bacon type of bacon.... for example a PB & J cost 15 dollars; the bread was fresh from the in house bakery, the peanut butter was imported from Africa and the jelly was hand-made by nuns in a Russian monastery and imported or some crazy shit.... The bacon was AMAZING and they encouraged us to "taste test" everything to ensure it was being cooked correctly.... I would taste-test the FUCK out of the bacon whenever we cooked up a pan.....

Wow, time for a road trip out to Ann Arbor then!

When I worked at A&W I would constantly take bacon, wrap it in cheese, and eat it. Sometimes mix in some pickles.

That read like a joke, with the pickle line as the punchline, except in this case it was more like a punch to the stomach. Pickles, really ? Ewwww !

If I went into Wendy's and asked for a Bacon&Blue sandwich with extra bacon and extra blue cheese, would they make it for me? How much would it cost?

[–]Pandaemonium 0 points1 point ago

I ask because the original sandwich was good but not bacony enough and not nearly blue enough.

Could also stand to be a bit bunnier.

I have no idea. It's been years since I worked there. I'm tempted to get a part time "gas money" job at the local Wendys to support my bacon habit though.
