My brain is slightly confused. I'm not 100% sure what I am seeing in this pic.

Looks like (foreground) crostini with bacon, mozzarella, tomato, and chives, but under the piece in the foreground there is some white stuff under the bacon as well (probably more mozzarella). In the background, I see some delicious looking potatoes.

The issue I'm having is my brain is the combination of ingredients automatically made my brain think of (and smell) a loaded baked potato with bacon, sour cream, tomato, and chives.

I mention sour cream because the shape of the mozzarella looks an awful lot like sour cream, but upon closer inspection, the piece of mozzarella in the rear is holding its shape very well, meaning it is clearly a solid.

Then, you say it's caprese but there isn't any basil. Adding to my confusion.

That said, looks delicious and I am hungry now.

I wanted to post the recipe but the blog didn't have a link I could find so easy, so I thought the picture would be nice to share. :) If I can get the recipe I will add it and try it myself.

That does look like mozzarella, but it seems like an awful lot of it in one bite. When I make Chicken Parmesan, I just use quarter-inch slices over thin slices of Roma tomatoes. (But look who's talking, I eat fried mozzarella sticks at every bar I go to.) Thankfully, though, I can buy fresh soft mozzarella at the supermarket in the one-horse town I live in.

And yes, I will attempt to make this dish with only a fuzzy picture to go by.

And no idea whatsoever what that sauce is supposed to be.
