Please tell me the meat is cooked...

Of course. Incidentally, sushi doesn't mean "raw fish". Sushi just means "something + vinegar rice".

Although I think it would be quite nice with uncooked meat, like you get in steak tartare. Obviously you'd want to be very certain about the quality and origin of your meat to do that.

I made something similar a few months ago. Behold, Breakfast Sushi I made egg & bacon sushi, ham nigiri, rice balls filled with egg and bacon, and hand rolls with more egg and bacon.

No sir. There is no such thing as "fantastic" where so-called "american cheese" is involved. It is nothing but a processed bastard. Go get some real cheese and try again.

You cheese-snob. American has excellent melting properties that a cheddar cannot match.

That's because it's made of plastic.

I think cheddar, personally.

I love how the word "processed" is synonymous with "bad" when referring to foods, yet no one has any idea what it means. Of course cheese goes through some process to create it.

Yes, all cheese goes through a process. But that is not what processed cheese means. Processed cheese is made from ((often the scrap pieces of) at least one type of) real cheese, then bastardized into a mild, bland, distastefully textured and artificial abomination.

Reading Caseus's comment in Borat's voice improves it vastly.

I can't say I'm the best "Catholic" or even the best "Christian," at least by reddit's standards. By this I mean, I believe in evolution as the answer to "How" not "Why"; I believe that we are judged by actions as much as faith; I believe that science is a way of understanding a universe created by means we don't understand; but most controversially, I believe that God may not be the exact manifested being that is literally described in the bible, but I digress.

You aren't the first catholic I've heard say things like this, which really just confuses me. If you don't believe in a lot of the basic tenets of the brand of religion you claim to be, guess what?

You aren't catholic. You're some other brand of christian (assuming you believe the whole jesus thing), but I just don't understand why there are so many catholics out there that freely admit they don't believe a lot of things about catholicism, yet still will sit there claiming to be a full blooded catholic.

This reminds me of Kobe beef sushi I've had.

You know, I don't really like bacon, so I was wondering why I felt compelled to join the bacon Reddit. Now I know why.

I'm a vegetarian, and I still felt compelled to join the bacon reddit...I think it's so funny!

Sure it's fantastic, especially the FISHY flavor of the nori seaweed that's wrapped around the thing.

I was thinking soy paper may have been a good alternative.
