I know I brought up the idea about a week ago, and I finally went through with it and made them! They taste fantastic!

My roommates all tried them, and one girl even told me, "Wow, that is impressive. I don't even like bacon, but if those things were on a menu in a restaurant I would order them."

Oh my god, it's the best of both worlds combined.

Looks great, but what if you would roll them in fresh bacon and THEN place everything in the oven? OR, cook the bacon half way, and then bake it some more?

It could come out crispy on the outside and soft in the inside!

That might work (maybe I can try it next time!) but my concern with that was that the chicken may not get cooked all the way through (assuming I put it in raw), or the bacon would become over-cooked.

Frying the chicken, putting it all together, and then baking it sounds like it might work well though, and I will certainly let you know how it goes if I ever get a chance to try it! :)

People grill rice balls (Yaki Onigiri). I'm sure you could affix some bacon on the yaki onigiri and grill or bake it.

That video makes no sense to me. Everything I've ever read says you rinse off the starch to prevent it from being sticky.

Rinse off the excess starch so the rice won't be gooey. That extra starch thickens the water as it cooks and a goo is created. I am not a rice expert but I have cooked a lot of rice and this seemed to be the case.
