Failing that, there is bacon in most refrigeration sections. However, it may be in a different physical form. Worst case scenario: you may need to buy little bacon bits and glue them together with cheese. Actually, that doesn't sound so damn bad. Failing that, you can enjoy the food of the gods: aligot! Aligot is mashed potatoes infused with garlic and melted cheese. It's amazing. And guess what? The only way it could be made better is with...you got it! Bacon!

Oh dear, that doesn't sound good. But there is hope! After a quick google of "where is the bacon in France?"
